The view to the sea is LOVELY, the room is huge.

Everything was nice, including caring staff and perfect location to private beach with sunbeds. We had a really big bedroom. We got magnificent views over the sea. Location: the hotel was short walk to the center of life in Golden Sands, nearby the bar and various entertainments and a children's disco. Moreover, Slipstream Sculpture was at a short distance from the place. Free Wi-Fi was very good and the service was very good. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would recomand🙂

The location of this hotel is great! It's just about 400 meters from the city center, making it really convenient to explore the area. Plus, there's a private beach with sunbeds, perfect for relaxing in the sun. ☀️.

The Apollo Spa Resort boasts an excellent location in Golden Sands, right by the beach and within walking distance of the Slipstream Sculpture. the staff is friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Guests can enjoy an extensive breakfast, and the overall services provided are commendable.

The staff was excellent, friendly and very helpful. The room was huge, very well lit (the balcony wall was glass), with wonderful facilities for a lovely, relaxing holiday. The cleaning staff did an excellent job replacing towels daily and cleaning up, unless the "Do not disturb" sign was on the door; they always left a complimentary bottle of water and even took the time to arrange the bedding in a nice "artistic" pattern. We had a park view room, but the "park" was actually a huge, green forest going all the way the eye could see, which made having tea or coffee on the balcony a lovely experience in and on itself.

There aren't many things to dislike about the dt Varna Golden Sands, but, as is the case with many hotels, there are a few small details that could make a difference in the quality of service provided: for example, instead of waiting up to 10 minutes at peak hours for an elevator to arrive at your floor you're way better off using the stairs. Also, being able to take a warm shower is a matter of pure luck: sometimes water pressure would drop in the middle of a shower and leave you rinsing with cold water, or waiting for the warm water to come back on. Upon complaining at the reception desk, the answer we received was "it happens, wait and it will come back on". Also...for a 5 star hotel, they served worse breakfasts than the 2 star hotel we stayed at last year: for 8 days in a row, minute changes not considered, the breakfast buffet was exactly the same, and pretty bland. And it's not easy being a vegetarian there, either. I wouldn't have mentioned these things had they happened in any other hotel. But for a Hilton chain member, I think these details are really important and should be fixed.

the food and drinks were diverse and delicious, although there were sometimes lines at the serving points. the hotel and amenities were nice, although it didn't quite feel like a 4, star hotel. the room was cleaned daily, but it would have been nice if the floors were swept and mopped more regularly, especially with sand being inevitable in a beach hotel. the staff, particularly the bartenders, were friendly and always had a smile on their faces. Despite a couple of encounters with not, so, friendly servers, the staff worked to resolve any issues that arose. the resort's private beach was a plus, although securing a sunbed could sometimes be a challenge.

Cons: Nothing I didn't like to be fair. 😊.

The hotel stay was very pleasant, the staff was friendly and competent, I received all the information to visit the area. cleaning of rooms was impeccable, the hotel is in a quiet area but near the beach and boardwalk. good value for money.

Hilton difference can be seen clearly. The sea view rooms are perfect and quite comfortable. The reception is kind and helpful in general.

It is 7-10 minutes walking to beach and downtown but since the hotel is located at high part of golden sands, the view is amazing. The recommendation I can make is that I called Bulgarian GSM number and paid 15 Bulgarian levas for 3 minutes. There should be price list for calls next to phone. In general, Staff in Bulgaria are rude and unsympathetic. You can feel same in Doubletree but since it is by Hilton, they push theirselves to be kind. Anyway, I did not experienced any dissapointing happening in the hotel.

We had a blast sipping refreshing drinks on the Sun Terrace while watching the kids splash around in the amazing pools and beautiful garden area. And when the little ones finally drifted off to sleep, my wife and I let loose and had a great time dancing the night away at the lively Apollo Night Club!

My children wanted a dedicated kids' club with organized activities.

First of all I was amazed by the price, it was the best deal I could get in Golden Sands. Besides all the amenities and comfort, that were exceptional, the view was simply amazing. It made my holiday even better for which I am grateful. Thank you! Radu Golita - Romania

A good seaside view, the hotel staff is good , kind and very professional.

The hotel claims to be 5 Stars "By Hilton" , but this status should be revised, because of following faults: 1. The Parking facilities are very poor. 2. The drainage under the shower does not work, there is an incorrect inclination of the floor, so there is constantly a big pool of water underneath.This is a construction problem, it's highly recommendable to be repaired/revised in all rooms. 3. The doors lock cards don't work porperly , they must be constantly reprogrammed.
